Women of Will runs various training programmes to help transform the lives of disadvantaged women.
To equip women with the necessary skills needed to run their businesses, they are trained in an Entrepreneurial Development Programme and taught the basics skills of managing a business, including financial management, marketing, and communications.
Upon completing the programme, the women are given micro-loans and begin the process of setting up and registering their company.
Each woman is assigned a business coach and mentor for 6 to 12 months to guide them and help them make the most of the micro-loans they receive. Women Of Will works hard to ensure that they have the support needed to develop a sustainable business, as well as help them lead balanced and wholesome lives.
Business coaches are made up of volunteers who have undergone a prior workshop run by Women of Will.
The Socio-Economic Development of the Indian Community (SEDIC) under the Prime Minister’s Department has awarded us a grant to train 100 entrepreneurial women. Women Of Will worked with local political constituencies in Batang Kali to recruit participants for the programme.
These women will go through an Action Learning Programme over 4 months where they will be taught business development, accounting, and event management skills. They will finally apply all these skills to organise their very own Community Day Event where they’ll be able to showcase their products.
