Baking as a tool for the transformation of lives
Our bakers had undergone professional training such as, MOH Certified Food Handler Training, Team Building Programs, Procurement Planning, Costing, Manpower Training, Operations Management, Quality Control, Packaging and Inventory Management modules. They are also attending ongoing baking modules conducted by a panel of certified bakers and trainers.
To further capacity build the women, both in the food category and in self development, programs for the coming year will include Health and Nutrition modules, as well as Women Of Will’s Entrepreneurship Development and Community Leadership Programs, with the latter nurturing the development of community initiatives.
With these skill sets on hand, not only are the women positioned to realize their ambitions at the Community Kitchen, but will be equipped with transferable skills for the future.
Fostering Partnerships and Community Investments
Engagement
It is through partnerships and engagements at both community and corporate level that WOW’s Community Kitchen in PPR Batu Muda has been realized, building ownership and investment in social change across levels.
Marketing
Through the establishment of a strong marketing platform for our baked products, inclusive of corporate pantry, corporate gifting, festival hampers, pledges to underserved homes (such as orphanages, refugee homes, elderly homes and OKU homes), as well as individual sales, our women bakers will secure sustainable incomes through their baking efforts.

Our goal is that this community based enterprise will be an inspiration and a platform for continuous empowerment of underserved women and their communities.
