The Inspiring Journey of Misha: Empowering Her Community During COVID-19

Misha, a 57-year-old former Admin Assistant, became a community leader for WOW after microcredit program, which helped her start a sewing business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a crucial role in supporting WOW's beneficiaries.

Misha distributed face masks and cookies to beneficiaries, even buying extra cookies with her own initiative. She helped secure cash funds for 30 women affected by COVID-19 and assisted in distributing food, including bread and essential items, to those in need. She also participated in discussions with Taylor's Foundation and aided in various community initiatives. In week seven, Misha organized the WOW Sewing Centre, assisted in distributing iftar food, and supported WOW beneficiaries in receiving typhoid vaccinations. Her dedication and leadership have been instrumental in helping her community during challenging times.
